Am I Still Blogging?

I noticed today that I haven't done a post in 20 days. Yikes!

(fading greens from the garden)

 Yes, I'm still a blogger--just haven't been blogging.

Since Drew went back to school I've been trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

I've been working on a business plan for my jewelry. Reworking my logo and creating a whole new website.  I'm very excited about the changes I'm making and feel like I have some momentum building. Hopefully I'll be launching in the next week.

(my succulent collection brought back from CA)

In other news, we had a little dinner party last night. I set the table with a set of china I found a while ago. I absolutely love it, but hadn't used it before.
I found it at a thrift store and I only have settings for four.
We usually have more than four people for dinner.

As usual, the lighting and my photography stinks :)

It was a cozy table for four

Thanks for stopping by, I intend to be back to blogging with more frequency now.

Hi Julie. So happy to hear you're doing well! Your dinner table is so pretty - I love that china! ANd I love that you entertain at home - I think it's becoming a lost art.

Julie,
I love how you always manage to make everything look not only elegant but special. I for one would certainly appreciate your care and attention. I think I need some friends like you in my life that reflect and make changes to please themselves other than trying to live up to someone else's expectations.

Hi JTC, Yes it's made by American Atelier At Home and the pattern is Paradise. It's not a high end china (although I think it looks like it) and I have found it on Replacements.com.

Patricia, you are so sweet. You do have a friend like me--ME!

There is nothing like writing a business plan that takes the wind out of one's blogging sails!!

I look forward to seeing and hearing all about it.

And....you have been missed! The china is beautiful. I love dressing the table with pretty dishes and silver, although I tend to always gravitate to my white. I love mixing patterns and styles. I hope you are having a lovely beginning to autumn on Monkey Grass Hill. Bonnie
