The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem

Did I say recovery? I meant to say recoverING.

Chairs that is.
And the first step is actually finding the perfect chair. Or in this case chairs.

I'll deal with my addiction later.

For now, I'm moving these cuties from room to room and looking at fabrics. Two of my favorite things to do!  Looking for an upholsterer is not quite as fun.

I should have married an enabler. I mean upholsterer.

Ha! Hilarious! Love those chairs, they look really comfy and the fabric looks so yummy. What about a bright cushion - cheaper. Though I do love to see modern fabrics on traditional chairs, that is such a cool look. My friend has a groovy purple velvet on her fainting - is that what you call them? couch.

Perhaps you need to join a chapter in "Chairaholics!"
I could write another chapter....on addictions and enablers....

Why are chairs addictive? I have a slight fascination with them myself.

Oh Julie I love the chairs and am sure they will look great once you get them recovered.

You and Gretchen Opgenorth need to meet - she married a very similar enabler.

I love the chairs. Have you ever considered taking an upholstery class? I am hooked on them! Your local Adult Ed school might have one. I share this addiction with you. Great blog!
