Already There

Yesterday I said I wanted to live in the country.
Well maybe I'm already there.
Seriously, we live minutes from Washington, DC and yet almost daily we see bunnies hopping around our yard, a fox cuts through around 8:00 am and 8:00 pm and then these guys were hanging out a few Saturdays ago pretty much all day.

And, this guy needs to brush up on his reading.
The house clearly says, 'Home for bluebirds" NOT, home for flying squirrels -- he is cute though.
I do love where I live.

Well now, those are fun visitors! I've got plenty of bunnies, they eat all my grass - which is hard to grow here in the desert so we only have a little as it is. I've also got lots of quail and the occasional coyote but no deer or flying squirrels, rock squirrels but I've never seen one fly :)

Well gosh, I love where you live, too Julie. So lush - no wonder you attract so many critters!

Sounds pretty perfect to me. I adore flying squirrels. I'm afraid I would spend my time just sitting by the window in hopes something would happen by. Bonnie

Looks like relatives of the wildlife around here! Cute, until they destroy the landscaping and fertilize the lawn...

I've got the deer, fox, plus racoons and hawks so no bunnies. Also in DC area.
