Our party was on Saturday and it was a lot of fun.
Of course I forgot to get pictures of everything until the party was winding down.

In the dining room there were candles flickering.
And/ or into the sunroom where the Fireside Reflections DVD was burning away. (It's a recording of a fire and I think it's hysterical.) It's one way to make the big flat screen TV look interesting when your not watching a show.
(here my funny friends are acting like they're warming their hands by the fire)
We had floating candles in the pond.
and a fantastic fire burned all night in fire pit in the yard.
(complete with s'mores fixins)
It seemed like everyone had a good time.
I think it must be because the warm and cozy feeling you get from a fire.
That, or the Poinsettia cocktails were really good :)

everything looks beyond beautiful julie. i'm surprised you are still alive to report on it! love all the decor on the mantles and since i don't have a fireplace i'm super jealous (what's new right) that you have more than one. how did all the hostess gifts turn out?

Ha! It was probably a combination of the fire and the cocktails. Looks like a great time, Julie! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Everything is lovely. I suspect your friends had a great time because you created a warm and cozy environment. Merry Christmas, Bonnie
It not only looked like a beautiful night but by the smiles on everyone's faces had a fab time. :)
What a wonderful party! The food looks so yummy! Having that firepit outside looks so atmospheric - I really want one now!
