Greetings From Sunny London

Yes, you read that right-- SUNNY London.

We've been here for just over two weeks and it's been hot and sunny since our arrival.

I've been pleasantly surprised by how nice the grocery stores are.

The produce is fantastic!
and they deliver

We've seen some of the sights

And have enjoyed many hours in The Regent's Park that is just a three minute walk from our house.

This guy showed Drew how to be a "bird whisperer"

 (aka-feed the birds)

He is so proud of himself.

We're getting lots of exercise walking and climbing in our new backyard

Every day is an adventure and I'm already certain that this move was the right thing to do.
I'm asking myself now, what was I so afraid of?...

Julie this is putting a huge smile on my face. I have a good friend who won't do the 'ex-pat' thing. I keep telling her she won't want to come back! I can't wait to read more.

So glad you are back! Have been checking alternate blog names that you have registered (for London) and was worried you wouldn't share the experience. Wish you the greatest adventure across the pond!

Happy to hear all things are going great. Can't wait to see your picks from Portabello road and the local thrifts! I bet there are plenty of chairs that need upholstering!

So glad that you are loving London! Love the pictures! Did you make it to Buckingham for the Royal Announcement of the Prince babe? Oh how I love the pomp of it all.
We are taking good care of Digby!
