Paradise indeed. Between my not so green thumb and the harsh Arizona sun, I don't really get flowers like this, can just imagine the scents. We do have some desert plants blooming right now and I walked around this weekend photographing some for a post later this week. I'm afraid they don't really hold a candle to your beauties :)
Wow, your foxglove plants are thriving. I've grown them before but don't have much luck with them reblooming - I don't think they like our summer heat. Your garden is beautiful and it makes me excited to get started on my own this fall!
so beautiful julie. i was just thinking of you yesterday as my foxglove is looking like it is coming back again. this is a miracle you know?! you are the foxglove whisperer. xo
one day I want to do a series of drawings foxgloves, foxes with gloves on..I think the series would make one smile....just as your garden made me smile. Not to mention the countless others here in blog land....smile. pve
I've always felt that foxglove manages to self-seed in much better and more interesting places that if I'd made the choice of placement myself. Your's are truly lovely.
Hi Julie - Phil suggested I visit your blog, as he knows I love gardening and all things hand made. Your garden is lovely! Beautiful foxgloves and columbines. I just planted 5 lavender blue columbines....hope they can tolerate the 3 hours of late afternoon sun where I planted them. Cheers! Loi Tone on Tone

Foxglove to dream about and die for! That is a lovely expanse you have. Makes me think I need to try it again. Just lovely.
How beautiful!
I've been thinking about adding Foxgloves to my garden, now I'll be sure to do so - they are stunning!
Gorgeous gardening and the foxgloves are thriving, for sure! How do you do it?
