...me a headache.
This Christmas I got a little something that Matt and Drew saw when they were out shopping. Drew was so excited about it that he was telling everyone he knew and even spilled the beans to me before Christmas.
It's a motion activated candy dispenser.
Matt told me this was the "hot gift of the season". In fact, "they were flying off the shelves". After all, who would want to burn A calorie reaching into a candy bag? And the bright red is sure to go with any decor :)
Drew was excited though, so I thought I better try to make it work.
Since one of Drew's top 3 gift requests was Fruity Pebbles I thought I would combine the two. Maybe with this new gadget Drew could get his own cereal without making a big mess right?
Our little breakfast station.
It didn't really pan out though. Turns out the machine is VERY sensitive.
Everytime Digby walked by it he set it off and Fruity Pebbles started shooting out all over.
I moved it to the counter. But everytime I wipe down the counter or reach in front of it Fruity Pebbles started shooting out all over the place. Then I took out the cereal and put candy in it (as the manufacturers recommend).
It works. And candy doesn't produce as many crumbs.
But now I have a big red electric egg shaped machine on my counter that spits candy at me every time I wipe the counters. I don't think this is going to work out.
Hey dad, want a nut dispenser?
